When your pet wears one of our ePet ID tags it asks the finder of your pet to go online to www.ePetID.com and enter the code found on the tag. The finder will immediately see your pets profile including a picture and a description.

When your pets profile comes up the finder is asked to enter three pieces of information. Their first name, email address and phone number. As soon as they click the submit button you; along with two other family members will receive an SMS Text message with the finders name and phone number. This all happens in seconds so you can get in touch with the finder and meet them to retrieve your pet.

Our ePet ID pet retrieval system is state-of-the-art. You will receive a stainless steel pet tag that will last a long time. You never have to replace the tag if you move or change phone numbers. You simply log into your own user area and change the information. You can also keep your pets profile up to date with the most recent picture, weight, height, color etc.

Each ePet ID allows you to have three names and cell phone numbers that would receive an SMS Text message should your pet goes missing. The service comes with one year of unlimited text messaging.

For security reasons you should never engrave your address and phone number on a pet tag. Our system never shows the finder information about the pet owner unless they choose to share it in their pets profile page.
