Dixon Golf celebrated the opening of their new Worldwide headquarters in Tempe, Arizona. Dixon Golf is the worlds first manufacturer of an Eco-Friendly golf ball. The ball is made from 100% recyclable materials. Tempe Mayor, Hugh Hallman attended the ribbon cutting ceremony along with council member Corey Woods. Also in attendance was Mayor Jim Lane of Scottsdale. Cutting the ribbon was a major feat so Hercules had to be brought in to help. Actor Kevin Sorbo is a spokesperson for Dixon Golf and is very active in helping kids and charitable giving. Dixon CEO William Carey and CFO, Dane Platt opened the ceremony by giving thanks to those that helped organize the party and for everyone that has helped Dixon Golf become so successful. William also spoke of Actor Don Cheadle who is a spokesperson for Dixon Golf. Moving into the Tempe transportation center helps Dixon Golf with their GREEN initiative. The building is designed with innovative features that help conserve energy up to 52 percent. The City of Tempe has agreed to pay up to $213,000 in capital improvements for the 5,300 square foot space as part of the lease agreement. The Dixon Earth golf balls have been outperforming well known brands such as Nike One Platinum, Titleist Pro V1 and the Callaway ix.
